Why should I lie, when I can dramatize.
Well my friends know that I was strongly against this album by Jay-Z when it came out. I felt the tone of the album was counterproductive to the positivity needed in hip-hop music. Thats observation was when I browsed it briefly. I decided to give it a chance…..Whew, not only is the poetry deep, there is a lot of inspiration in this music. I took a step back and it made me remember that everything we indulge whether it be TV, Music, Art, etc., its all for entertainment or enjoyment first. Its secondary purpose is to inspire. At least thats how I see it. This album is on frequent rotation now.
This is my commentary - written word, about my life and those who are in it, as I see it. I am just a man seeking the beautiful things in life and savoring those things with the special people that make it all worth it. I am a amateur philosopher, photographer, and pretty much amateur in anything with "pher" at the end. :)

Just stop and listen to the groove “Hello”. It’s just funky!

two cents:
Ohhhh so late on this post but regardless I loved this album the first time I heard it. I think Jay really grew into his manhood and just put out some really good music this time around…as opposed to Kingdom Come which I will NOT speak on…LOL.
